This morning, there was a knock on my door and I literally jumped for joy when I saw my lovely postman standing there with this box in his hands for me…
Yes, indeed, it was the brand new subscription box by TheVeganKind!
I’ve heard so much about subscription boxes in blogging world, especially the American ‘Conscious Box’, but I’d never actually experienced one for myself… until today! 🙂
TheVeganKind is a monthly subscription box that has just launched in the UK to help consumers interested in ethical lifestyle choices. (I know from first hand experience what a minefield ethical shopping can be!) Through the subscription box, we’ll be introduced to a whole plethora of vegan, cruelty-free and planet-friendly goodies, including foods, toiletries, accessories, cosmetics, cleaning products, and household products.
Here’s a sneaky peak at what I received in my box this month…
I was pleased with the range of products that it included. They’re all completely new to me and I’m looking forward to trying them out. Personal deodorant and washing powder were two items that were on my ‘to green’ list, so if these products work for me, I’ll be over the moon! I know Lil’ L is going to love testing those ‘Goody Good Stuff Fizzy Sweets’ too 😉
Karris is keen to point out that this subscription box is for anyone and everyone. You don’t necessarily have to be vegan or even vegetarian; you may simply be looking to make more ethical choices in your shopping.
The monthly subscription box costs £10 (plus £2.95 P&P). For this price, you’ll receive a range of full and sample size goodies, as well as a snazzy recipe card. Each month, TheVeganKind will donate 10p from every box sold to a charity, chosen by the public via their Facebook page. This month, the Farplace Animal Rescue was chosen as the featured charity.

Ooo another box subscription, they do keep popping up
Looks great. Such a good idea to introduce people to new ethical products.
So excited that there’s a vegan subscription box in the UK now! I’d love to win this box to see what it’s like 🙂 I think deodorants are always good, I’ve yet to find a natural one that actually works!
I’d like to see items that are hard for me to find in my local shops, generally good cleaning products and maybe some interesting foodstuffs, maybe different nuts and oils.
So excited about this! I’d like to see some raw products in future boxes, raw chocolate would be great!
I’d love to see different flavours of tofu or recipe cards for items in the box
awww they look so cool!!
what a good idea
great idea!!
Vegetables that I don’t use alot would be nice to see
raw chocolate!
Wow! I might subscribe when they have their allergy free boxes available, I’d love a box like that!
I’d like to see some hard-to-find vegan products, maybe vital wheat gluten or Bragg’s liquid Amino’s?
I just found out about these guys yesterday! As much as I love food I’m so pleased that they’re doing eco-friendly beauty and cleaning products and other bits-and-bobs too!
i’d want to see all of the granola! all of it!
I’d love more seaweed/kelp products!
Would love some beans and tofu!
This looks like a great idea
unusual veg
Sounds like a really cool idea!
I’d love to see more natural cleaning and bodycare products.
This is such a good idea! I’d love to see a vegan deodorant as i’m on a mission to find a good one.
raw chocolate is always welcome 🙂
I’d love to see some skincare products 🙂
Looks like a lovely box, i’m a big fan of natural and healthy products!
I’d love to see some natural tea, spices and butters (like natural cashew butter).
Again, looks great! My cup of tea 🙂
Anything to do with chocolate!
I would love to win this, I am newly veggie and I struggle for inspiration and I think this would help a great deal. I love getting nice things through the post, there is so little these days!
ha ha I didn’t answer the question.
I think a small taster of super supplements would be a good idea – such as spirulina or hemp powder. It is difficult to tell if you could use something without trying first. I bought a huge tub of hemp powder and it was vile, such a waste of product and money.!
Oooh! Tricky question – cleaning products, vegan cheese, the flour you can make seitan with but, most of all, filling snacks for my 17yo son who is seriously contemplating the vegan life as he prepares to step out into the world!
For me it would have to be a treat, marshmallows or chocolate perhaps.
I’d love to see something sweet (chocolate of course) but maybe cookies too!
I’d like to see non-UK products that aren’t easily available elsewhere.
I think it’d be nice to get hard to find ingredients to experiment with new stuff! So good to see companies like this anyway 😀 vegans are rocking the world!
Store cupboard items that are difficult to source in small sizes so can try before buy larger size.
Atlantic kombu – just seen this on a site but not sure if I would like it or not. Sounds good.
Natural Skincare
What a fabulous idea! I would love to see a vegan melting cheese, not found one yet!
I’d love to see some vegan cookie mixes
Vegan chocolate! Would also be interested in natural cleaning products.
