Christmas Eve

‘To Do’ List

1. Make some raw chocs to hang on the Christmas tree. Check

2. Make a lentil & nut roast for Christmas dinner. Check

3. Decorate M’s birthday cake (SO LATE!), light the candles and sing happy birthday to him. Check Check Check

Classy candles eh? They remind me of Lil' L's magnetic letters ๐Ÿ™‚

4. Decorate the Christmas Cake. Check. Me & Lil’ L turned it into a giant snowball ๐Ÿ™‚ย

5. Make some coconut marzipan balls with the left over ground almonds andย desiccated coconut. Check.

To make these I used 1 cup ground almonds, 2 tbsp agave syrup, 1 tsp vanilla extract and a few drops of almond extract. I rolled them in apricot jam to make them sticky, then rolled them in coconut ๐Ÿ™‚

6. Wrap the presents. Check.

Just got to have a shower andย get dressed, then I’m done! ๐Ÿ™‚

Have a great weekend everybody!ย  Happy Christmas! Happy Yule! Happy Hanukkah! Happy Winter Solstice! I send my warmest wishes to you all. HAVE FUN! ๐Ÿ™‚ xx

Our Christmas cake wasn’t very classy, but we had good fun decorating and eating it ๐Ÿ™‚

I opened the Mama Pea cookbook yesterday (when I got back from my mums) and I can’t stop reading it! Thank you so much for sending it to me. I really appreciate it ๐Ÿ™‚
Happy New Year to you and your family xx

    1. Thanks Shannon. For the last two years, I’ve wrapped the presents in recycled brown paper and ribbon. This year I fancied something a bit more colourful ๐Ÿ˜‰
