Amy’s Kitchen Hamper UK Giveaway (Gluten-free, Dairy-free, Vegan!)

Amy’s Kitchen is a family business, founded 25 years ago by Rachel and Andy Berliner following the birth of their daughter, Amy. All Amy’s Kitchen products are vegetarian, and many are also suitable for vegans and those on gluten-free and dairy-free diets. Committed to using only the finest natural ingredients, all products undergo a thorough taste test from the family to ensure each one has a true home-cooked taste.

Amy's Kitchen 400

Amy’s Kitchen offers an extensive range of quality, frozen vegetarian dishes and canned soups, which are perfect for those days when you don’t have time to prepare meals from scratch. In the UK, they’re available to purchase in major supermarkets and independent health food stores nationwide. You can use this store locator to find your nearest stockist. (Please note that the UK supermarkets seem to only stock the vegetarian frozen meals rather than the vegan ones at the moment, so do make sure you check the labels).

Today I have one amazing giveaway lined up for you! Amy’s Kitchen is kindly offering my readers the chance to win a hamper filled with seven of their tasty meals. Taking into account the dietary requirements of my readers, we’ve made sure that all the products in this hamper are gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan 🙂

Here’s the lowdown on what’s included:

Rice Mac & Cheeze
After years of recipe testing, Amy’s Kitchen discovered delicious dairy-free Daiya Cheeze to go with their tender organic rice pasta. This dish is so tasty that people will no longer have to miss out on their favourite ‘mac and cheese!’

  1. How fun! I’ve seen some of the Amy’s kitchen products about but not this whole range. I’d love to try the mac ‘n’ cheese! It’s not something I tend to make myself so it would be a real treat 🙂
    Thanks for hosting Sharon x

    1. It’s a pleasure Emma ♥ Just wish I could enter all these giveaways myself 😉 I’d love to try the mac n cheese too. I’ve heard so many good things about Daiya cheese!

  2. I would love to try the mac and cheese! Our local supermarket has the tinned soups and they’re lovely, but it’s difficult to get anything more vegan-specific items here!

    1. Ever since I heard that their mac and cheeze is made with Daiya cheese I’ve been dying to try it. I’m struggling to find it in my local health food stores though 🙁 I’m going to ask in Waitrose tonight. Fingers crossed!

  3. I’m really looking forward to trying the Manhattan Veggie Burgers, love the sound of that quinoa and walnut combo!

  4. I like the sound of the soups – i take soup to work for lunch so it would be great to try something new!

  5. They all sound wonderful and it’s a fabulous prize. Particlarly interested in the curry or the lasagne.

  6. I am most looking forward to the vegetable lasagne! Vegetable lasagne was one of my favourite pre-vegan foods, and despite being a vegan for 6 years now, I still haven’t tried (or made) a vegan lasagne! I hope Amy’s Kitchen can show me how it’s done 😉

  7. Its a toss up between rice mac n cheeze and the Manhattan burger! I think walnuts work really well in veggie burgers, but its so rare to find vegan ones! the idea of using rice pasta in a mac n cheeeeese interests my tastebuds too. Nom!

  8. Great competition!

I would love to try Manhattan Veggie Burger the most! Although, it all looks amazing!

  9. This is super interesting! The packaging looks very, very different than the ones in the US., I actually prefer the UK packaging, hehe! I’ve tried almost all Amy’s products, but I’m entering the giveaway to gift someone special in the UK, hope this is ok! I really like their Mac & Cheeze and Lasagna, they did pretty well with the cheezy pasta dishes. Their canned soups are pretty good, I used to combine Organic Lentil Vegetable Soup and brown rice with bit of tamari/soy sauce and Sriracha to make it a bit Asian, hehe! Thanks Sharon for hosting this wonderful giveaway, wishing you a fab weekend!

    1. Of course you can enter & gift it Rika! Really appreciate your views on the products too. I’m on the hunt for a mac and cheeze, but all the shops I’ve been in so far only stock canned soups or the frozen burrito.
The packaging is totally different isn’t it? I found this out when I searched on Google images. I think I prefer the UK packaging too 😉
Wishing you a wonderful weekend too! ♥ xx

  10. I’d love the try the vegetable lasagna, I’ve had the rice mac and cheeze and its delicious

  11. Finally! I giveaway where I won’t have to ‘giveaway’ practically everything in it if I win! I am vegan and allergic to wheat, and Amy’s gluten and diary free mac and cheese is my family’s favorite. We would so LOVE to try the rest of these goodies!!

  12. That lasagne looks so tasty! Def one of the things I’ve missed most since going vegan.

  13. Amazing amazing amazing!!!! Would love all of these!! Love the soups so this is a great addition 🙂

  14. Wow what a great giveaway, I love Amy’s stuff. I’m due to have a baby in the next week or so, so some quick and easy foods would be a godsend!!
Its so hard to get quick easy Vegan food where I live so have to cook everything…which Im goona not have much time to do 😉
My 1st Vegan baby, thanks you very much for this comp! <3

    1. Oh wow, how exciting!!! This hamper would be perfect timing for you wouldn’t it? I’ll keep everything crossed for you ♥ xx

  15. I love ALL their food but the veggie burger is relatively new, I think, so would really like to try that. Wonderful giveaway I could put it all to delicious use. 🙂

  16. I used to love lasange when I was only vegetarian but I haven’t time to try making a vegan one as a student nowadays so I would love to try that ! Also split pea soup I love soup !

  17. I’m really excited about the vegan lasagne- It’s been ages since I had one, and they’re such an undertaking to cook yourself!

  18. I would love to try the lasagne. I can’t seem to find the vegan one anywhere in Sheffield 🙁

  19. I love Amy’s!! That Mac and Cheeze looks craaaaaazy good. I will have to keep an eye out for it in the store when I return to Canada. Amy’s soups have saved me quite a few times when few vegetarian or vegan options were to be found.
Awesome giveaway! Wish I was from the UK 😉

  20. I already love the lentil soup but I am looking forward to trying a vegan lasagna as I miss veggie lasagna. Looking for a product with actual melting vegan cheese. An edible vegan cheese is like my personal holy grail lol

  21. One of my favourite comfort foods before becoming a vegan was macaroni cheese, so that would have to be the Amy’s Kitchen product I am most looking forward to trying. Saying that though, the Vegetable Lasagna and Thai Red Curry look very appealing too.

  22. Am most looking forwards to trying the vege burgers!! It’s so hard to find wheat free vege stuff and as I have a wheat intolerance and don’t eat meat, find it tough going sometimes

    1. Hi Poppy! With a little help from the staff I found the Amy’s Kitchen frozen meals in Waitrose this morning, including the Lasagne! They weren’t in the vegetarian cabinet (like I assumed they’d be) but in the frozen meals cabinet between the fish pies and chili con carnes!
p.s. Your blog is absolutely awesome! I’m so happy to have discovered it through this giveway ♥ I’ve already pinned lots of your yummy recipes & to make sure I don’t miss out on any future ones I’ve started following you on Twitter, FB AND Pinterest 😀 xx

      1. Sharon what a wonderful message! I am taken aback by your kind words and compliments! Thank you. I’m so pleased you are following me also, I will follow you back where I haven’t already! I love connecting with British bloggers 🙂

Fantastic news on Waitrose! I’ll also check Ocado as I usually order from them. Really excited to try them!

        Poppy xo

        1. Poppy, a friend has just pointed out that the Amy’s Kitchen frozen meals in Waitrose aren’t vegan… they’re the dairy cheese version. I’m gutted as I bought them without checking 🙁
The hunt for the vegan version continues… If you spot them in the shops, let me know! xx

          1. Oh no what a shame! You should return them for a refund! Of course I will let you know if I spot them anywhere 🙂 x

          2. Ocado stock the Thai Red Curry and soups and Goodness Direct stock a large range of the vegan Amy’s products including the lasagne and macaroni cheese etc! 🙂 xo

          3. Some of the meals are vegetarian (containing cheese), not all of them are vegan. Sometimes I bought these mac n cheese ones and that they weren’t vegan, just have to check the ingredients/labels again (they can be quite small).

          4. Thanks for letting me know that I’m not the only one to have made this mistake! I’ve just checked the packaging for the mac n cheeses and lasagnes on the Amy’s Kitchen website and it is very, very similar (IMO). I’ve learnt my lesson now. Will definitely read the labels next time 😉

  23. We’ll be moving to the UK soon and this would be the perfect way to set up stock in our new kitchen! I love the look of the vegan lasagna in particular – I haven’t had lasagna since going vegan and never liked the heavy cheese veggie versions I tried before that.

    1. So exciting that you’re moving to the UK! A few of these ready meals would definitely make life easier as you settle in. GOOD LUCK! xx

  24. I’d love to try the rice mac and cheeze. I’ve never had vegan cheese before and this would be a great start!

  25. I love vegan food 😀 but my favorite has to be… Lasagna. 🙂 but I would love to try them all, what a fab selection!

  26. These products are great emergency products! Super excited, hope we win the girls go nuts for that vegan mac and cheese! 😀 x

  27. The lasagne would be great to try. well all of them really. We have been totally gluten free here for about a month. Be nice to try something ready made as I am running out of ideas. I would like to be impressed by a gluten free ready meal. x

  28. Thank you for bringing Amy’s Kitchen to my attention… It ALL looks very yummy. Now that I’ve located a store near me, I’ve popped the mac cheese and lentil soup on my list for next week. Nothing like some comfort food on a wet, cold Summers day! 😉

    1. Hey lovely! ♥ I’m definitely in need of some comfort food this weekend What is it with this crazy weather????
BTW I’ve got a mac n cheese & lasagne that I can give you to try as I accidentally bought the dairy versions in Waitrose on Friday! I’ll pop them by next week xx

  29. Thanks so much for a brilliant giveaway! The hamper looks amazing and i am very excited about your variety of meals, which all sound mouthwateringly delicious.

I am most keen to try the Thai Red Curry (as i adore curry) and love Butternut Squash…yum!

The hamper looks really good and i am so delighted to have found your brilliant blog dedicated to healthy cooking. 🙂

  30. Hi
I am very interested in trying the MacnCheese and Lasagna – I think I’ve seen them in the shops before but always thought they included dairy like some of the other frozen ready-meals from Amy’s kitchen and so if it wasn’t for your blog, and TheVeganKind link to this great give-away, I would have been none the wiser! So thank you.
    Sabrina

    1. Hi Sabrina! Amy’s Kitchen sell dairy mac n cheeses and lasagnas as well as the vegan versions. I’ll try and find out whether any UK supermarkets stock the vegan versions (I’ve only seen the dairy versions so far). The packaging is very similar (IMO) so it’s best to check the ingredients list before buying x

      1. Hi Sharon. Thanks for the response, so quickly too. OK, I see. So I didn’t get that completely wrong. I’ll keep an eye out too but if you find out about any UK supermarkets or large health food stores stocking the vegan versions, let me know. Always curious to try vegan things.

  31. HI

I kept trying to enter my comments but it did not work – maybe because I use a Mac, or something??

Anyway my comment to Amys Kitchen is this:
I met Amy at VegFest last year and really enjoyed the vegan soup and burgers. I’d be delighted to sample any more of the vegan options as that’s what I love to eat. Soups are always a treat so the Hearty Spanish rice and bean soup would be ideal if it’s vegan!

    1. Hi Martin! I think you entered it all correctly… you just needed to click ‘I commented’ in the Rafflecopter, then write your comment under my blog post. I’ve checked Rafflecopter and your entry has been registered 🙂 Good luck! xx

  32. I have literally tried almost every single GF/Vegan Amy’s product out there. Now that I’m finished with college for the year, my wallet is hungry and I am hungry for Amy’s. It’s a lose-lose! I haven’t tried her mac and cheese yet, so that’s next on my list!

I also heard she’s coming out wit breakfast sammiches, too pumped!

  33. Love the sound of the Thai Red Curry and the Rice Mac and Cheeze (am hoping it tastes so good I can persuade my family to ditch the dairy to some extent) x

  34. I have tried the mac n cheese love it but hard to get hold off, love to try the lasagne ! x

  35. Wow what a great giveaway! Love Amy’s kitchen products so much, never seen some of the products above before would love the opportunity to try them! Especially love the mac n cheese it’s amazing! Fingers crossed

    1. Hi Lynne! Amy’s Kitchen does both dairy & vegan versions of their mac n cheese and lasagne. The packaging is very similar so quite easy to get them mixed up (I made this mistake recently!) The major UK supermarkets tend to stock the dairy versions x

    2. Ah! I thought I was being dense because it’s pretty easy to spot on the packaging pictured here. I’m going to have to hunt them down. Thanks.

  36. The vegan mac n cheese looks amazing, I hope I can find a shop near me that stocks the vegan version.
